#BASDcommunity Social Media Campaign

The inspiration for #BASDcommunity arose from our desire to spotlight the collaborative efforts between our school district and the broader community, emphasizing the symbiotic relationship between education and community development. The campaign unfolded throughout the school year, commencing with convocation and the introduction of our new superintendent.

“Our district is built on strong ties with the community,” said Bethlehem Area School District Superintendent, Dr. Jack Silva. “ We are committed to clear and engaging communication, and it’s an honor to see those efforts recognized through these awards.”

How ‘Normal’ is your Business’ Social Media Activity? Let’s Look…

Being “normal” is boring. We know that. In fact, our whole approach to our clients’ social media, videos, and other marketing initiatives is to stand out from the “normal.”

However, understanding what other businesses are doing, especially ones that are similar to yours, is an effective way of taking stock in just how healthy your social media and other marketing practices are holding up.

Lehigh Valley with Love Media Wins Pennsylvania Social Media Award

Lehigh Valley with Love Media recently won the Award of Honor for Social Media Campaigns and Projects from the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association for its work with the Bethlehem Area School District.

Lehigh Valley with Love Media worked with the Bethlehem Area School District for its #BASDproud social media campaign in the fall of 2016.

Instagram Adds Live Streaming Feature

Ready for another social media platform to “go live” from? Instagram recently announced that it is rolling out a live streaming feature included in Version 10.2 as another way for users to share their experiences.

What was once seemingly a novelty, “going live” has become increasingly commonplace on platforms like Facebook. Moms share school concerts as they happen, annoying friends share their food updates, and you probably get to see a lot of babies.

Navigating the Social Media Maze (PRESENTATION)

Thank you to all ho attended Lehigh Valley with Love Media’s presentation of “Navigating the Social Media Maze” at the Greater Lehigh Valley Real Estate Academy on November 2, 2016.

The presentation focused on how real estate agents can better use their existing social media accounts to gain better engagement and social traction as well as whether or not they need to add any new social accounts.

Facebook’s New Algorithm to Give Boost to “Best Friends” and Decrease to Pages

Facebook’s changes, whether they include algorithm updates or modifications to your news feed, always cause an initial bit of uproar until people forget about them.

Let’s face it, you’ll be a bit annoyed for awhile, but as long as you’re still able to easily share photos and moments and connect with your friends, most of these changes only result in Facebook page account administrators needing to work a bit harder to get their content noticed.

What Happens on the Internet in One Minute (AND WHY THAT MATTERS TO YOUR BUSINESS)

Social media trends are important because the easier it is for users to get involved, the easier it is for businesses to get them involved.

For example, if you’re in the retail space and your main demographic is women aged 35 to 55 years of age, Pinterest is going to be a good spot for you to share some of your product links. Why? Because women aged 35 to 55 years of age seem to enjoy Pinterest.
