What Americans Hate Most about Work Culture

Posted On December 29, 2018 By lvwithlove In Blog /

Not all jobs are created equal and not all work environments are the same. I’ve known many people who thrive in the traditional 9-5 cubicle stereotype à la the movie “Office Space.” I’ve seen others only work up to their full potential by working remotely.

The sad part of current work culture is that those preferences aren’t something most employees can just choose to work within. If you’re entering a call center job then you’re probably not going to be able to request to work from home.

However, there is the increasing sentiment from many that the traditional 9-5 is something that, while it shouldn’t be excised completely, is up for change and malleability in order to work best with employees so that they can work to their full potential.

To that end, a recent Reddit thread asked American workers what they hated most about their work culture. Below are some of the best takeaways we found from those who probably have a job just like yours!
