Godfrey Daniels is taking its 50th anniversary celebration across the Lehigh Valley this summer with special Jubilee events at Das Awkscht Fest and Musikfest, followed by a full schedule of live music in Bethlehem through December.
The Summer Jubilee Series continues a milestone year for the SouthSide Bethlehem listening room, which has welcomed artists and audiences to 7 E. Fourth Street since 1976. The anniversary celebration moves beyond the intimate BYOB venue for a July 31 showcase at Das Awkscht Fest and a full day of performances at Musikfest’s Liederplatz on August 9.
The upcoming schedule also includes an encore performance from Golden Jubilee headliners Larry Campbell and Teresa Williams, the annual Celtic Classic Preview Night, two-night residencies from Chris Smither and John Gorka, and a wide-ranging mix of folk, Americana, blues, roots music and singer-songwriters.
