Catch ‘BUGS’ this Weekend at Zoellner and get ready for a Fun-Filled February

Posted On January 30, 2026 By lvwithlove In Community News /

February at Zoellner Arts Center kicks off with a show built for families. On Sunday, February 1, acclaimed guitarist Kaki King and GLITCH bring BUGS, an imaginative concert that blends music, storytelling, and colorful projection visuals to explore the world of beetles, critters, and ecology.

Designed with kids in mind, BUGS turns live music into a visual experience. As King plays, each note triggers images that are projected directly onto her guitar, transforming it into a “magic guitar” filled with movement, light, and nature-inspired scenes. The performance is playful, engaging, and a great first concert experience for young audiences.

BUGS by Kaki King & GLITCH takes place in Baker Hall at 1:00pm and 4:00pm. Tickets are $18 for adults, $12 for children, and free for Lehigh University students. The show runs about 60 minutes with no intermission.

After BUGS, Zoellner’s February schedule stays packed with live music, jazz, theatre, and immersive experiences. Highlights include Sangjaru on February 5, blending Korean folk traditions with global rhythms; the New York Jazz Repertory Orchestra on February 7 with a Hollywood film music program in jazz style; and LUVME: More Food and Love on February 8, an afternoon of art songs themed around romance and food.

On February 12, Zoellner offers two powerful programs: Traveling While Black, a virtual reality experience running on select dates beginning that day, and a documentary screening and panel for The Ebony Canal later in the afternoon. Mid-month brings the GRAMMY Award-winning Akropolis Reed Quintet on February 14 and The Jane Austen Playlist on February 15, a music-and-narration program inspired by Regency-era life.

Later in the month, Zoellner spotlights campus talent with the Lehigh University Philharmonic’s Concerto Marathon! on February 20 and 21, plus the Lehigh University Department of Theatre production of The Importance of Being Earnest running February 20–28. The month wraps with the Lehigh University Jazz Repertory Orchestra on February 28.
