Feeling Beltzville’d takes the local Beltzville Lake experience and turns it into pixelated chaos.
The setup is simple: a food truck crashes into the lake, scattering hot dogs across the water. Dad, apparently ignoring every warning sign available, hops aboard a motorized duck float and goes after them. As you can see, this game is based firmly in reality.
Players collect hot dogs while dodging algae, bacteria, geese, snapping turtles, floating diapers and other questionable hazards. Food-based powerups help keep the run going, while three hits mean Dad officially gets Beltzville’d. Live leaderboards track high scores, dogs collected and distance traveled.
I am currently in first place on the leaderboard as of the typing of this article.

It is basically a perfect Beltzville weekend: the park reaches capacity and you get to go out and enjoy the water while eating a few hot dogs with some diapers and geese.
The idea actually came from creator Matthew Blum’s childhood trip to Beltzville Lake, when his family showed up ready to swim only to find the beach closed because of bacteria in the water. So yes, getting Beltzville’d has apparently been a Lehigh Valley tradition for a while.

Feeling Beltzville’d comes from Lightly-Salted Productions, the Lehigh Valley creative laboratory Blum founded in 2003. The studio works across art, engineering and storytelling, with projects ranging from photography and retro-tech restorations to original video games. The new release joins Send Martin Tower to Mars and Route 22 Rampage in the Lightly-Salted Arcade series.
