Bethlehem band Dear Anna, long-time Lehigh Valley favorites, has released a new music video for “Hot in the City,” a pop-rock shot of energy with a punchy, hook-forward edge.
The band features Lorenzo Bubba, Troy Ritter, and Dave Zullo, and has pointed to influences like Bleachers, The Killers, and Bruce Springsteen.
“Hot in the City” starts with a snapshot of a night out: “Another tab, another round. You’re too pretty for this town, let me get you out.”
It’s easy to picture this one landing during a blazing summer night during Musikfest, with the chorus hitting while the crowd.
The video was filmed at The FunHouse South Side in Bethlehem, a venue played by hundreds of local, regional, and national acts.
Dear Anna has also indicated more visuals are on the way, with another music video titled “Dancing” expected later this year.
Check them out on WFMZ’s Music Monday.
