Bethlehem residents have several meaningful ways to give back this holiday season, with nonprofits and small businesses organizing food drives, toy collections, fundraisers and outreach efforts that directly support local families and neighbors in need. Below are several opportunities for community members to get involved.
Northeast Community Center (NECC) Food Drive
The Northeast Community Center is leading a nonperishable food drive to support local families in need. The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce is serving as a designated drop-off location at 74 W. Broad Street, Suite 240. NECC’s Food Pantry remains critically low while continuing to provide essential groceries to more than 300 local families.
Items Needed: 1 lb. bags of rice, pasta, pasta sauce, beans, canned meats, canned vegetables and fruits, cereal, pancake mix, coffee, tea, juices and bottled drinks.
