In this episode of Lehigh Valley Valley with Love Podcast, we talk with Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority Executive Director, Tom Stoudt, about the return of substantial air travel to the Lehigh Valley.
We talk about how travel numbers have already returned to pre-covid numbers, how the airport is continuing to keep travelers safe, what they’ve learned from the past year, and some substantial changes coming to the airport structure itself.
Mr. Stoudt is the Executive Director of the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority, which owns and operates a three-airport system, including Lehigh Valley International (ABE) and Queen City Airports in Allentown and Braden Airpark in Forks Township, Pennsylvania. He is responsible for overall mission accomplishment, which includes generating $33 million in annual operating revenues and progressing a $42 million capital improvement program. Tom has 25 years of experience and previously served as Director of Operations and Safety, Senior Airport Planner, Operations Specialist and Aircraft Ground Handling Agent at ABE.
