Instagram Launches Automatic Spam and Offensive Comments Filter for Your Accounts

Spam is annoying, but, we always like to look at comments flooding beneath your pictures as a sign that you’re doing something right. I mean, people are taking notice of your content.

Of course, that superficial flattery really only lasts so long until you’re pulling out your hair over having to get rid of spammy or offensive comments.

Hey, Instagram to the rescue!

How ‘Normal’ is your Business’ Social Media Activity? Let’s Look…

Being “normal” is boring. We know that. In fact, our whole approach to our clients’ social media, videos, and other marketing initiatives is to stand out from the “normal.”

However, understanding what other businesses are doing, especially ones that are similar to yours, is an effective way of taking stock in just how healthy your social media and other marketing practices are holding up.

Which Social Media Platforms Should Your Business Be On?

It’s easy to get caught up in the hype of the latest social media platform. Take Snapchat, for example. It went from something that people used to send risqué pictures a few years ago to each other to something that the latest summer movie blockbuster is using to advertise their release dates. Your mom probably knows how to use it, too.

But, just because many people are using it, does that mean that your business needs to be on it? Yes and no.

Let’s take a look at some of the larger social media platforms and give a rundown on if you should be on them.

An Updated Look at Social Media Demographics (With Quality Takeaways)

Social media platforms are constantly changing as are the demographics that are using them. Did you know that middle schoolers don’t even think Facebook is cool right now? Instagram is where it’s at for them, at least, for now.

Let’s take a deeper look at where social media demographics are right now. But, don’t get too comfortable, they are bound to change within a few months.

At the end of the graphic, we’ll look at a few takeaways.

Five Things You’re Probably Doing Wrong on Facebook

Facebook makes it pretty easy for your business or organization to share moments, memories, upcoming events, and more. However, there is still something to be said for having a little bit of Facebook savvy.

Here are a few things that you may be doing on your business or organization’s Facebook page that you should stop doing like, yesterday.

Lehigh Valley with Love Media Proud to Sponsor Lehigh Valley Beer Week

Lehigh Valley Beer Week returns to your favorite bars, restaurants, and brew pubs February 18 – 25 and Lehigh Valley with Love is proud to be the sole media sponsor for 2017.

What is Lehigh Valley Beer Week? Well, think of any restaurant week in your area where each spot has a pre fixe menu that highlights some of their best stuff at a reasonable packaged price. Now, imagine if your favorite bars did that, but also had tap takeovers, special events, and even more.

Lehigh Valley with Love Media is proud to team up with the great people who run, volunteer, and participate in Lehigh Valley Beer Week.

Be sure to check out their website, Facebook, and Twitter to find events going on near you.

Let’s do this. #LVBeerWeek

Cinnabon’s Carrie Fisher Tweet Polarizes Internet and What Your Business Can Learn From It

The case could be made that social media users are becoming more tolerant of ads within their social media platforms, but that doesn’t translate to them putting up to what they perceive to be corporate pandering. However, a little bit of time to think it over can also mean a change of mind.

Cinnabon, that delectable bakery chain in many a shopping mall, released a tweet that they say, and I believe, was meant to be in honor of the late Star Wars actress. However, since the company used its product within the tweet image, other twitter users weren’t having it at first.
