ArtsQuest and Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA have opened a call for artists to create the signature artwork for the 2026 free concert season. The selected piece will become the visual identity for one of the Lehigh Valley’s largest community music series.
More than 50,000 people are expected to attend concerts at Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks throughout the summer. The winning design will appear on the official season poster, program book, social media graphics, promotional materials, concert merchandise and more. The selected artist will receive $1,000 in compensation along with reproduction rights.
Who Can Apply
The opportunity is open to artists who live in the Lehigh Valley. Eligibility includes residents of Northampton or Lehigh Counties, as well as the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton.
Applicants are asked to submit existing artwork for the first round of review. From those submissions, a committee of ArtsQuest and Levitt Pavilion staff along with board members will choose finalists. Those finalists will then be invited to create an original design inspired by the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks experience.
Artwork Guidelines
Final artwork should:

Be original work created by the artist

Preferably be in a digital format, although all mediums are welcome

Not use AI generated imagery

Capture the spirit, diversity and energy of the Levitt Lawn and its audiences

Reflect values of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging
Incorporating the Levitt Pavilion structure and the historic Bethlehem Steel blast furnaces is encouraged but not required.

If files are larger than 25MB, artists may email their materials and questions to cstevens@artsquest.org. There is no fee to apply.
