Jiva Fitness 2.0, a boutique fitness center in Wilson Borough, will celebrate its official Grand Opening and Open House on Sunday, November 23, from 12 to 3 p.m. at 1005 Palmer Street, Easton.
The event will showcase Jiva’s diverse offerings, including group fitness classes, personal training, massage therapy, and holistic wellness workshops. Guests can enjoy refreshments, entertainment, short sample classes, raffles, and membership discounts. The afternoon will conclude with a singing bowl sound bath, offering visitors a glimpse into the gym’s integrated approach to health and well-being.
Owner Dr. Bettina Riccio, who took over the business earlier this year, says the reimagined Jiva Fitness 2.0 stands apart in the Lehigh Valley’s fitness scene. “We’re not a yoga studio or a CrossFit gym. We’re completely different,” Riccio said. “We offer professional-level group fitness workouts that you won’t find anywhere else in the area.”
Among Jiva’s exclusive programs are five licensed MOSSA classes (Group Power, Group Groove, Group Core, Group Active, and Group Centergy) alongside original offerings such as Boot Camp, Yoga Fusion, Belly Dance, and Sound Bath workshops.
Riccio, who also runs Bettina Riccio Consulting, Inc., describes taking over Jiva as a “passion project” inspired by her friendship with the gym’s late co-founder, Heather Stirner Nutting. “Either I would take Jiva forward and keep Heather’s legacy alive, or the business would close,” she said. “I’m certain I made the right choice.”
Jiva Fitness 2.0 continues to build on that legacy with a focus on community, personalized attention, and innovative wellness programming.
