Mixed media artist Michael Palladino will present work from his “Ashland” series at the Bethlehem Town Hall Rotunda Gallery from July 1 through August 10, 2026.
The exhibit features a pairing of photographic aerial views of desert landscapes with monochromatic carved wooden counterparts. Through vivid geometric imagery and textured, charcoal-toned panels, the series explores the relationship between human intervention, cultivated land, and environmental degradation.
Palladino, an international visual artist originally from the East Village in New York City, is known for nature-themed carved wooden reliefs that often point to environmental concerns. He holds a BFA in Studio Art and Design from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University and now lives and works along the Delaware River in the Lehigh Valley.

An artist reception will be held on Sunday, July 12, from 2 to 4 p.m., with an artist talk at 3 p.m.
The Bethlehem Town Hall Rotunda Gallery is located at 10 E. Church Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The gallery is closed weekends and holidays.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Bethlehem Fine Arts Commission and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
