Lehigh Valley’s Current Favorite Restaurants (According to 300+ Facebook Comments)

Posted On March 6, 2026 By lvwithlove In Blog, Community News /

We asked our Facebook followers a simple question: What is your current favorite restaurant in the Lehigh Valley?

We have about 350 comments with people sharing their go-to spots all across the region.

If you don’t feel like reading all the comments, which you probably should (below) we summarized everything a bit so keep reading…

Overall Favorites

A handful of restaurants kept showing up across the thread and clearly have strong local followings.

Apollo Grill in Bethlehem was one of the most consistently mentioned restaurants in the entire discussion. Multiple people pointed to both the food and the service.

Taste of Italy in Hellertown also had a big showing, with commenters mentioning the atmosphere, desserts, and overall experience.

Albanesi Restaurant & Bar in Easton appeared in several different comment lists and continues to build a strong reputation.

Henry’s Salt of the Sea was one of the most frequently mentioned seafood spots in the thread (and our favorite resturant of all time)

The Broken Record in Allentown was mentioned more than once in the thread

Kabinett Wine Bar in Easton got fewer mentions, but one of them was especially detailed, praising its ever-changing dinner menu and saying it feels like a real dining experience, not just an eatery.

Other restaurants that came up multiple times included Curious Goods at Bake Oven Inn, The Shelby, Union and Finch, Youell’s Oyster House, LoRusso’s Italian Restaurant, 515 Main, and Point Phillips Hotel.

ITALIAN!

Italian restaurants dominated the thread.

The most frequently mentioned included:

  • Taste of Italy (Hellertown)

  • Albanesi Restaurant & Bar (Easton)

  • LoRusso’s Italian Restaurant (Allentown)

  • Nick’s on Main (Bethlehem)

  • Fiorentina Grill (Trexlertown)

  • Gambino’s (Easton)

  • Elpedio’s Ristorante (Seipsville)

Several commenters also pointed to specific dishes, which is always a good sign for me!

Seafood and Classics…

Seafood restaurants had fewer total mentions but very strong support from the people who recommended them.

The biggest names here included:

  • Henry’s Salt of the Sea – Allentown

  • Youell’s Oyster House – Allentown

  • Marblehead Chowder House – Easton

  • 3rd & Ferry Fish Market – Easton

There was also a lot of love for long-standing local favorites and casual institutions such as Wert’s Cafe, Yocco’s, Sam Owen’s, Fairgrounds Hotel, and Point Phillips Hotel.

These are the kinds of places people return to again and again.

YOU WANT MORE?

The thread also showed how diverse the Lehigh Valley food scene has become. Many commenters highlighted restaurants specializing in international cuisine or smaller spots that people consider underrated.

Some of the most talked-about included:

  • Aman’s Artisan Indian Cuisine – Easton

  • Bibi’s Tiffin – Bethlehem

  • Anatolian Kitchen – Bethlehem

  • Wonder Kitchen – Bethlehem

  • Ume Asian Cuisine – Allentown

  • Thai Kitchen – Bethlehem

  • Lu Taqueria – Bethlehem

  • La Maya – Hellertown

In total, the thread mentioned well over 100 different restaurants across the Lehigh Valley.

A few places rose to the top with repeated mentions, but the larger takeaway is how many local favorites people are excited to recommend.

If you are looking for somewhere new to try, this list is a good place to start.

And based on the number of comments we received, we may have to do this again soon.
