Lehigh Valley Passport to History and Lehigh Valley WIth Love Partner to Launch Monthly Virtual History Series

Posted On January 11, 2022 By lvwithlove In Blog, Press Release /

Lehigh Valley Passport to History and Lehigh Valley With Love are partnering together to launch a monthly virtual history series starting on January 18, 2022.

ALL EPISODES HERE

The series, hosted by Lehigh Valley with Love Media’s George Wacker, will air live on third Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. on the Lehigh Valley Passport to History Facebook page. Each 30-minute episode will highlight a different theme and discussion from the night’s participating historic sites.

“In this time of COVID, armchair traveling has really taken off. The Passport to History Virtual Series gives people in our region—and beyond—a great chance to learn more about our member sites and the history stories they preserve,” said Beth Twiss Houting, Lehigh Valley Passport to History Vice Chair.

The January program delves into winter survival and food preservation. Participating speakers include the Schwenkfelder Library & Heritage Center and Washington Crossing Park.

The 2022 Lehigh Valley Passport to History Monthly Virtual Program topics include:

  • Tuesday, January 18: Surviving Winter & Food Preservation
  • Tuesday, February 15: Black History
  • Tuesday, March 15: Women’s History
  • Tuesday, April 19: Historic Gardening and Summer Kitchens
