JuxtaHub, the Lehigh Valley’s arts and innovation center, has promoted Ryan Hill to Executive Director.
Hill previously served as JuxtaHub’s Chief Programming Officer, where he helped expand the organization’s programming and public access to its Emmaus facility. JuxtaHub says his work has supported the nonprofit’s early growth and increased community participation.
Since joining the organization, Hill has overseen several major developments, including a new ceramics studio, an arts education program, and the launch of regular public hours at JuxtaHub’s renovated warehouse space. The nonprofit also plans to debut an arts and innovation summer camp for children ages 6–12 in summer 2026 and says an upcoming event will highlight the work of its resident artists.
Board President Gary Guthrie credited Hill’s leadership with helping turn JuxtaHub “from concept to reality,” pointing to Hill’s background in nonprofit arts management and his focus on accessibility and innovation, according to a release.
Hill brings more than 18 years of experience in arts administration. Before joining JuxtaHub, he spent 14 years at ArtsQuest, where he advanced from Programming Manager to Senior Director and helped develop cinema and comedy programming, launch festivals, and expand sensory-friendly initiatives, including the Musikfest Inclusion Zones. He has also held roles with Civic Theatre of Allentown and the State Theatre in Easton.
Hill is currently pursuing Georgetown University’s Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate Program and is a graduate of Ithaca College with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He also completed Leadership Lehigh Valley and continues to serve as a mentor.
