Local music, local radio, and local support came together at the Defend Public Radio Winter Jam in Bethlehem.
The benefit show brought a strong crowd to the Ice House to support WDIY 88.1 FM, Lehigh Valley’s community-powered public radio station. The afternoon featured live sets from Dear Misty, Lovecartel, We’re From Antarctica, and Drew & The Blue, each bringing their own sound and energy to a lineup built around one shared goal: showing up for public radio.
Events like this are a reminder that WDIY exists because the community supports it. From local music discovery to independent voices and nonprofit programming, WDIY continues to be a vital part of the Lehigh Valley media landscape, and this show was a clear example of that support in action.
Check out some music from We’re From Antartica, Dear Mistay, and Lovecartel.

As King plays, each note triggers images that are projected directly onto her guitar, transforming it into a “magic guitar” filled with movement, light, and nature-inspired scenes. The performance is playful, engaging, and a great first concert experience for young audiences.
