ArtsQuest to Honor Local Heroes with Annual Veterans Day Q&A Panel at SteelStacks

Posted On November 5, 2025 By lvwithlove In Community News /

ArtsQuest, in partnership with Embassy Bank and Phoebe Ministries, will host its annual Veterans Day Q&A Panel on Monday, November 10, at 9:30 a.m. in the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks.

The free community event, which has been a Lehigh Valley tradition since 2011, celebrates the courage and sacrifice of local veterans through meaningful dialogue and shared stories. This year’s panel features two distinguished guests: Chief Warrant Officer 4 Cheryl G. Ites (U.S. Marines, Ret.) and Master Chief Petty Officer E9 Nathaniel “Nate” Smith (U.S. Navy, Ret.).

The discussion will be moderated by Frank Gunter, Professor of Economics at Lehigh University and a retired Marine Colonel, who will guide the veterans as they reflect on their service experiences.

“Giving back to those who served is a privilege and a responsibility we hold close to our hearts,” said David M. Lobach, Jr., Chairman, President, and CEO of Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley. “We’re proud to continue supporting this annual tradition at SteelStacks.”

ArtsQuest is also working with area schools to bring student groups to the event, offering a valuable educational experience for young people. Due to limited seating, early arrival is encouraged. The program will also be livestreamed on ArtsQuest’s Facebook page for those wishing to join virtually.
