North Whitehall Township’s 5th Annual Tree Lighting Set for Dec. 3

Posted On November 25, 2025 By lvwithlove In Community News /

North Whitehall Township will kick off the season on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, with the 5th Annual North Whitehall Township Tree Lighting Ceremony at Kolapechka Park (4075 Coffeetown Road). The celebration runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., with the tree lighting scheduled for 6:45 p.m. The event is presented by the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce in partnership with North Whitehall Township.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., guests can enjoy live holiday music and performances, including a featured performance by Innovative Arts Academy. Families can visit with live reindeer, enjoy a petting zoo, meet roaming characters, take part in holiday activities, and browse craft and business vendors offering seasonal items.

The Upper Lehigh Lions Club will serve complimentary hot chocolate and hot dogs, with additional options available from onsite food trucks and a festive craft area hosted by Parkland Community Library. Children can also drop off their letters to Santa in the township’s North Pole Mailbox, available only during this event. After the tree is lit, families are invited to the barn for photos with Santa.

Admission is FREE, with items available for purchase. Free event parking is located at Levans Park (3421 Levans Road, Coplay, PA). For updates, residents can visit the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber’s Facebook page.
