Recorded on location at SOTA Show House Greenleaf, Allentown, Pennsylvania

We’re on location at this year’s Society of the Arts Show House in West Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Society of the Arts (SOTA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultural organization founded in 1964 with a mission to support the Allentown Art Museum’s presentation of outstanding artistic programs.

Arguably their most famous and visible event, The Show House, takes place every year in a beautiful home in the Lehigh Valley where stagers, designers, landscapers, and more get to share their fashions and visions.

The Show House was unable to take place during COVID, so this year is especially important to the organization and the excitement while we were recording was palpable.

The event runs April 30 through May 15. Visit sotapa.org for more information.

The Show House features the latest in home decor and fashions from a robust and impressive roster of local designers and landscapers.

Proceeds from the SOTA Show House support the Allentown Art Museum’s educational programs such as the SOTA Education Endowment and the SOTA Print Fund

There will be a bevy of special events during the Show House’s two week run including: ○ The Petals and Pearls Preview Party on April 29 ○ Luncheon and Fashion Show featuring local designer Lara Bly Designs on May 14 ○ Greenleaf garden brews featuring HiJinx Brewery, Well Crafted Beer Company , Sticky Pig food truck, live music and yard games. ○ Shopping Opportunities at Boutique in the Alley ○ And more!

GUESTS
Max Weintraub: Allentown Art Museum President & CEO
Valerie Johnson: SOTA President
Jill Stevens: 2022 SOTA Show House Co-Chair
