Godfrey Daniels was established in 1976 and is one of the last remaining true listening rooms in the country. A listening room is loosely defined as a musical venue where the emphasis is placed on intently listening to the artist as well as a space for them to discuss their music in depth.

We talk with artists Miriam Clancy and Rachael Sage prior to their show at Godfrey’s.

We talk with New Zealand born Miriam Clancy about moving to, and loving, Pennsylvania, Kutztown in particular and what keeps her inspired as one of many in a long line of Kiwi singer songwriters. She loves PA so much she wrote a song about it.

And we we speak with New York City based Rachael Sage Rachael Sage , an American singer-songwriter and visual artist former ballet dancer, poet, and many more hats, about her time during the pandemic and her excitement to play again in person.

We’re also treated to a song from each artist, including a debut from Miriam Clancy and the first time Rachael Sage has played live with her new collaborator Kevin from Philadelphia.
