In this episode we visit with The Junior League of the Lehigh Valley President, Alli Logenhagen, and talk about voluntarism, community, American Girl Doll Restaurant shenanigans, and the upcoming Little Black Dress Initiative October 19 – 23.

The Junior League of the Lehigh Valley is an organization of women in Easton, Bethlehem and Allentown committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

Their purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League welcomes all women who value their mission and are committed to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations and communities.

Founded in 1901 by social activism pioneer Mary Harriman, the Junior Leagues are charitable nonprofit organizations of women, developed as civic leaders, making a demonstratable impact on their communities. The Junior League of the Lehigh Valley is part of a larger organization – the Association of Junior Leagues International. The Association includes over 290 Junior Leagues throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom consisting of over 160,000 women, all striving for positive change in their communities
