From April 19 through May 31, 2021, Kulp Roofing and Construction, LLC encouraged local residents throughout eastern & southeastern Pennsylvania and the Poconos to nominate a family or individual in need of a roof replacement and gutter installation (including a leaf protection system) at no cost to the family.
Kulp representatives were proud to recently surprise the winner of the “Kulp Gives Back” promotion, Annamae Pavlik of Allentown.
“2020 was a difficult year as the pandemic impacted everyone in our community, including us,” said Ryan Hogan, Kulp Roofing & Construction, Inc. Sales and Marketing Manager. “Being a locally owned and operated company, we felt it was important to give back to the communities that support us. We discussed the idea in our management team meeting and said let’s give it a go.
“Kulp Gives Back” is made possible by partners GAF, Service Partners, Leaf Relief by PlyGem, Adams Outdoor, iHeart Media, Lehigh Valley with Love Media, and Sarott Design.
BETHLEHEM, PA – Social Music, the first all original full length album release by Pennsylvania six piece jazz band Ginger and The Schnappes, is about reconnecting with the power of song.
“Social music is listening to the stereo, the cassette player, the radio, the concert or a streaming device with others and experiencing the music together. “Shh, listen, this is my favorite part,” and now your favorite part becomes your friend’s favorite part,” said Ginger Brew, the band’s stylish chanteuse.
“Social music is shared. Was there ever a better expression of your love for someone then to hand them your personally curated mix-tape? “Here, share my universe with me.”
Social Music is engaging and sometimes indicative of the band’s Pennsylvania roots; take the song 309 for instance. It’s about all the quirky and fun places along PA Route 309 from Philadelphia to Tunkhannock. If you’re from around there you’ll know those stops and end up sharing your own stories of trips along that road.

Tunes at Twilight (www.TunesatTwilight.com) returned to downtown Bethlehem on May 6, 2021 with a few twists.
Firstly, there will be multiple performers each Thursday through July 22. Secondly, they will perform at different locations downtown during the evening.
So, you can bop around to different spots and hear different music, or just saddle up and catch your favorite all night long (well, until 8:30 p.m. for now. Starts at 5:30 p.m.)
Starting on March 13, 2020, Lehigh Valley with Love went into lockdown along with much of the rest of the Lehigh Valley.
For a few months leading into summer we put together more than 100 videos with local restaurant owners, students, politicians, friends, and even some celebrities!
While the circumstances for this series weren’t exactly something we would have had in mind, we’re fortunate to have been able to speak with so many amazing people during a really weird time in all of our lives.
We are joined the Moravian Historical Society, the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles, and the National Museum of Industrial History to learn about pioneering female leaders and innovations that brought about changes during three centuries of Lehigh Valley history.
The 2020 Virtual Bethlehem City Christmas Tree Lighting, a Lehigh Valley with Love Media project, was recently featured in the LA Times.
The article highlighted Bethlehem and surrounding Lehigh Valley areas’ holiday fansticness. We’re beyond proud to have been a part of this project that showcases one of the most beautiful cities in the United States!
This year, however, things were a bit different. With social distancing measures in place at the Bethlehem Mounted Police Stables on Langhorne Ave, and a limited group, the Tree Toss went virtual this year, raising a record $2,690 for Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley.
While we couldn’t hold the Christmas Tree Toss in person this year, we were able to team up with More Miles Automotive and the Bethlehem Mounted Police Unit to throw a ceremonial toss as we continue to raise money for Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley.
Thank you to everyone involved in keeping this tradition alive.
PLEASE DONATE here: https://t.co/bHr4bBBFh3?amp=1 Help More Miles Automotive meet or exceed the amount that they raised last year, which was $1,800.
The money raised from this event helps us to continue provide our life-saving services for domestic intimate partner abuse survivors. Since the pandemic, we have seen a humongous increase in the need for our services – 24/7 helpline, emergency safe house shelter, empowerment counseling, and legal advocacy for PFA (Protection From Abuse) orders.
Welcome to the Virtual Bethlehem Christmas Tree Lighting 2020!
Join Angela DelGrosso, Senior Vice President, Bethlehem Chamber, as she welcomes a special guest to help us light our beautiful tree with the help of community members!
