Who’s taking home this year’s DUFFY?
The DeSales University Film Festival (DUFF) will take place Saturday, March 28, featuring a slate of original films produced by students in the university’s TV/Film program.
The one-night event centers on premiere screenings, with work spanning narrative, documentary, and experimental formats. Projects are developed across the academic year and presented publicly for the first time during the festival.
DUFF is a juried event, with films reviewed by industry professionals and program alumni.
Awards are presented at the conclusion of the screenings, including honors for directing, cinematography, editing, and sound design, along with audience choice and the DUFFY award for best overall film.
The festival also reflects collaboration between the TV/Film program and the School of Performing Arts, with student actors and performers contributing to multiple productions.
DUFF is open to the public and recommended for ages 14 and up. The event will be held at DeSales University in Center Valley.
Tickets are available through the university box office at 610-282-3192 or online.
