Downtown Nazareth, PA will come alive with holiday spirit on Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 13, 2025 as the Nazareth Area Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual two-day Christmas Weekend celebration. Families, neighbors and visitors are invited to gather in the borough for festive activities, live entertainment and small business shopping throughout the weekend.
The festivities open on Friday evening with “Claus Comes to the Circle” from 6 to 8 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet children in the Nazareth Circle, which will be lit for the season and filled with performances by Nazareth Area School District students, a holiday DJ, kids’ activities and treats. Local officials will take the main stage at 7 p.m. to share a holiday message as the community kicks off the weekend together.
On Saturday, December 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., “Christmas in Nazareth” spreads across town with a full day of shopping, dining and entertainment. Local vendors and artisans will be featured at the Nazareth YMCA, Peters, Moritz, Peischl, Zulick & Brienza lot, and the Moravian Historical Society. Families can visit live reindeer, enjoy a holiday petting zoo, meet roaming holiday characters, and sample food from area trucks while children take part in seasonal activities.
A highlight of the day is the free Elf Trail, a shop-local adventure through downtown Nazareth. Guests who complete their Elf Trail passport by visiting participating businesses will be entered to win prizes, reinforcing the event’s focus on supporting small, local shops during the holiday season. Additional festivities include a holiday open house at the Nazareth Center for the Arts, special activities and raffles at the Memorial Library of Nazareth & Vicinity, and a Winter Market hosted by the Nazareth Farmers’ Market.
