Bellwether Ritual has released its first full-length album, The Guilted Age.
After a year of writing, recording, and shaping the full concept, the Lehigh Valley based band says the project represents the most complete version of their vision so far, and the start of what comes next.
The Guilted Age continues Bellwether Ritual’s blend of heavy groove, doom-leaning atmosphere, and narrative-driven songwriting, with a concept rooted in historical horror and modern-day reflection. The record draws from the weight of accusation, fear, and public judgment, tying old-world paranoia to contemporary cultural pressures.
Alongside the release, the band credited a tight circle of collaborators who helped bring the album to life:
-
Recorded at: Riverton Records
-
Artwork: Old Bonez Design
-
Supporting vocals: The Beautiful Distortion on “The Mark” and “Lysergic Lyturgy”
-
Band photography: Brian Wagner
-
VO work: Mike Cunningham
