Lehigh Valley Beer Week returns to your favorite bars, restaurants, and brew pubs February 18 – 25 and Lehigh Valley with Love is proud to be the sole media sponsor for 2017.

What is Lehigh Valley Beer Week? Well, think of any restaurant week in your area where each spot has a pre fixe menu that highlights some of their best stuff at a reasonable packaged price. Now, imagine if your favorite bars did that, but also had tap takeovers, special events, and even more.

Ever wanted to video chat with 50 of your closest friends? Well, Facebook is making it even easier to connect and giving users one less reason to use another app. And, yes, it allows for up to 50 people to join at one time.

Facebook recently announced that group video chat would be supported for Facebook Messenger and on the web and it’s stupid easy to do.

The case could be made that social media users are becoming more tolerant of ads within their social media platforms, but that doesn’t translate to them putting up to what they perceive to be corporate pandering. However, a little bit of time to think it over can also mean a change of mind.

Cinnabon, that delectable bakery chain in many a shopping mall, released a tweet that they say, and I believe, was meant to be in honor of the late Star Wars actress. However, since the company used its product within the tweet image, other twitter users weren’t having it at first.

Bizarre tree-throwing charity event to be held in Peter Kearns’ honor

The popular Bethlehem Christmas Toss for Charity will be held this year in memory of its late founder, Peter Kearns, on December 24 at 11 a.m. at More Miles Automotive, 1458 Stefko Blvd., Bethlehem, PA.

The original event was first held in 2002 when then Meineke Car Care owner Peter Kearns challenged Mike DeCrosta, currently of More Miles Automotive, to a contest. The resulting yearly tradition became something of a bizarre, but wildly popular, way to celebrate the holiday season. Peter Kearns passed away this summer, making this year’s event that much more important.

The event originally ended in 2013 after Kearns retired, but was revived in 2015 at the behest of fans and former participants.

Thank you to all ho attended Lehigh Valley with Love Media’s presentation of “Navigating the Social Media Maze” at the Greater Lehigh Valley Real Estate Academy on November 2, 2016.

The presentation focused on how real estate agents can better use their existing social media accounts to gain better engagement and social traction as well as whether or not they need to add any new social accounts.

On a rainy overcast afternoon ArtsQuest’s Oktoberfest kicked into full gear, lederhosens and all. As the Yuengling began to flow so did the real competition start, a competition that would separate the winners from the losers, the Raven One to One Media Oktoberfest Celebrity Skill Challenge (ROTOMOCSC for short)!

The seven team pool had representatives from Service Electric, iHeartMedia, Morning Call, Raven One to One, Two Rivers Roller Derby, and yours truly Lehigh Valley with Love.
