Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania will host its annual Community Harvest Gala on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. at its warehouse at 6969 Silver Crest Road in Nazareth. This year’s theme, Packed with Purpose, centers on raising money for food share boxes and the costs that help get nutritious food to neighbors across six counties.
Rather than staging the event in a traditional banquet hall, the gala brings guests into the warehouse itself, where food is received, packed, and distributed throughout the region. Organizers say the evening is meant to connect supporters more directly to the work behind the mission.
Guests will hear from hosts Hernán Morissi of WFMZ 69 en Español and Genesis Ortega of Allentown City Council, and enjoy a pantry-inspired dinner prepared by Chef Angelo Napoli of Modern Fusion Catering. The menu is designed to reflect the kinds of staple foods Second Harvest helps provide through its network of more than 200 partner agencies.
Sandra Bieber, Chief Philanthropy Officer at Community Action Lehigh Valley, summed up the stakes this way: “Every box packed and every dollar raised helps us provide meals, hope, and dignity to those facing hunger in our community. The Community Harvest Gala is an opportunity to come together and make a meaningful difference.”
Tickets and sponsorships are still available for those who want to attend and support the cause.
