So You Want to Spend $1,000 Marketing Your Business Online? Here’s Where It Should Go

Posted On October 23, 2015 By lvwithlove In Blog /  2

A comprehensive, planned, and slick social and digital media campaign for your business doesn’t have to cost a million bucks to look like a million bucks.

By focusing on reusable content that maximizes reach to your selected demographic, you can spend a lot less than you think to come off looking very professional.

Of course, we’re not going to give you every single trick we have in our bag. But, we can give you some ideas to start thinking about. If you’d like to take the plunge to the next level, be sure to contact Lehigh Valley with Love Media to get started.

$300: Email Marketing

That much will buy you a year’s subscription to MailChimp or similar companies.

If your lists are under 2,000 you may even be able to get by for free.

MailChimp’s intuitive design allows for solid templates that you can go back to each month.

$500: Video

Did you notice that we’re already at $800? Video is the wave of the now and the wave of the future.

Now, of course, if your company needs a 30 minute special, you’re going to be looking at the industry standard of $1,000 per minute, give or take.

However, if you’re looking to do your own video, or would like to work with a firm like Lehigh Valley with Love Media, you will be able to put together short, to the point, viral type videos for much less than you think is possible.

A quality camera is already included with your smartphone and most free video software, such as the included iMovie any Mac, is suitable for viral videos.

$200: Social Media Promotion

And, to be honest, $200 is even a stretch and we’re not even talking spending it on one post. You can use $200 split 75/25 between Facebook and Twitter and see instant results if you use the proper targeting parameters for your product or service.

Your best bet? Spend money on your best content, like bogs about upcoming specials or that aforementioned video you just put together.

That’s it, we’re at $1,000 and you barely broke a sweat.
