The Bethlehem, PA Christmas Tree Toss on Stefko Boulevard is an annual competition for charity between the Bethlehem Police Chief and the Bethlehem Township Police Chief.

The event is held at the Meineke Car Care Center on Stefko and raises money for Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley, which shelters survivors of domestic violence.

From The Bethlehem Patch: “Those attending, which typically include a horse, a goat and bagpipers, will parade from Meineke north to Jack Williams Tire. According to tradition, the loser of last year’s toss — in this case Pancoast — must walk a horse that carries the winner — Schiffer.

The police departments urge everyone to stop by to throw a tree and make a donation to Turning Point. ”

Bethlehem Police Chief Jason Schiffer won this year!
