Community Food Drive at Easton Farmers’ Market Set for Nov. 8

Posted On October 29, 2025 By lvwithlove In Community News /

The Easton Farmers’ Market at Scott Park, located at 130 Larry Holmes Drive, Easton, PA, will host a community food drive on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the collection tent set up near the Larry Holmes statue.

Organized by City Council Member Crystal Rose in partnership with the Easton Farmers’ Market and local volunteers, the drive welcomes fresh produce, non-perishable items, and grocery gift cards. Visitors can also purchase market tokens that will be distributed to SNAP recipients, allowing them to shop directly with market vendors.

“All donations will be equally shared between Project Easton’s Food Pantry and The Neighborhood Center’s Food Pantry,” ensuring support reaches families across the city. Council Member Rose expressed gratitude to the market team, volunteers, and Council Member Frank Pintabone for their support.

Market-goers are encouraged to bring donations and enjoy the market while contributing to local hunger relief.
