Nominated for Seven Emmy® Awards
Emmaus video production team pushes lifetime nomination total to 15
EMMAUS, Pa. (August 12, 2015) – FireRock Productions was nominated in seven 2015 Mid-Atlantic Regional Emmy® Awards categories from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences during an announcement event on August 11 in Philadelphia.
The Emmaus-based video production company, owned and operated by husband and wife Rocky and Julia Urich, received nominations in the Youth/Teen Program/Special category, Human Interest Feature/Segment category, Lifestyle Feature/Segment, and the Public/Current/Community Affairs category.
FireRock Productions also received nominations of craft achievement for Rocky Urich as a short form editor, program editor, and program photographer.
The 33rd Annual Mid-Atlantic Emmy® Awards will be presented Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the Philadelphia Hilton.
FireRock Productions has received eight previous Emmy® nominations, and has won a 2013 Emmy® for “Happiness is Always an Option,” a feature on Bethlehem, PA native, Shane Burcaw, who faces his Muscular Dystrophy with laughter and a smile.

Rocky received an Associate’s degree in Radio/TV, and a specialized degree in multimedia from Northampton Community College. He later graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in TV/Film from DeSales University. Julia earned her Bachelor of Arts in both Theater and Music from Muhlenberg College.
