ArtsQuest’s Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas will launch its fall Cinema Film Studies series on October 18, offering audiences an in-depth look at how storytelling evolves across genres, history and media. Hosted at the ArtsQuest Campus at SteelStacks in Bethlehem, the series brings together professors, filmmakers and editors for interactive lectures and workshops.

Bethlehem’s Grist Miller’s House Honored with Preservation Pennsylvania Award

The restored 1782/1834 Grist Miller’s House in Bethlehem’s Colonial Industrial Quarter has been honored with a Preservation Pennsylvania 2025 Historic Preservation Award. The Construction Award for Rehabilitation Projects will be presented to Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS) and its construction partners on October 16 at the Carrie Blast Furnaces in Pittsburgh.

Family FUN-A-PALOOZA 2025 Returns to Zoellner Arts Center

Zoellner Arts Center at Lehigh University is bringing back its popular Family FUN-A-PALOOZA on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The day of festivities will feature free activities, treats, and giveaways from community partners including PBS39, Just Born, and Crayola, along with special appearances from Ziggy the Zoellner Zebra, a Halloween costume dance party, and wellness activities presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Hellertown’s Heller-Wagner Grist Mill Site Added to National Register of Historic Places

The Hellertown Historical Society (HHS) has announced that the Heller-Wagner Grist Mill, located at 150 West Walnut Street in Hellertown, has been officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The recognition, confirmed by the National Park Service in August 2025, honors the site’s cultural, architectural, and historical significance dating back to the mid-1700s.
