Star of Bethlehem Festival Brings Three Days of Whiskey, Wine, Movies, and more to Downtown Bethlehem for a Cause
Festival proceeds to benefit Annual Star of Bethlehem Festival for Kids
BETHLEHEM, PA (February 24, 2016) – Downtown Bethlehem will be home to not one, not two, but three days of whiskey, wine, and a special movie presentation of “Kingsman: The Secret Service” during the Star of Bethlehem Festival scheduled for May 13 – 15 at the Daniel E. Rice Plaza at Lehigh and Main streets.
The three-day Star of Bethlehem Festival is comprised of the Star Bar Whiskey and Craft Beer Festival on May 13; The Christmas City Wine Festival on May 14; and Star Screen Movie Nite on May 15.
Proceeds from the events go to the Annual Star of Bethlehem Festival for Kids, taking place on June 5 in the same location. The Star of Bethlehem Festival for Kids is a free event for children aimed at education in the arts, sciences, and performing aspirations.
“Our main goal has always been putting on the best Bethlehem Festival for Kids each year,” said Star of Bethlehem Festival president George Sobetsky. “We can’t thank the community enough for supporting our organization and for being involved in the fun events that we are able to put on to help us reach our yearly goal.”
Star of Bethlehem Festival events will be held under an 80×100 foot tent on a grass field in the plaza. No one under 21 years old is permitted and no strollers are allowed.
